Full Stack Energy Partners with Skipping Stone to Expand into the US Market
Limerick-based energy technology company Full Stack Energy has announced its expansion into the United States through a strategic partnership with Massachusetts-based consultancy Skipping Stone. The collaboration aims to deliver flexible, data-driven solutions to utilities, traders and energy service providers facing challenges in decarbonisation, renewables integration and distributed energy management.
Founded in 2007 by Liam Relihan, Full Stack Energy designs and delivers proprietary technology to accelerate the global clean energy transition. Skipping Stone, established in 1996 and headquartered in Boston with offices in Houston, Los Angeles and Tokyo, provides consulting and implementation services to clients in the electric and natural gas markets.
The partnership brings together both organisations’ expertise to help clients navigate the evolving energy landscape. Through this collaboration, they aim to address key industry challenges and enhance operational efficiencies in an increasingly decentralised energy system.
Full Stack Energy CEO and founder Liam Relihan said the partnership marks an important step in the company’s growth trajectory. “For more than 20 years, Full Stack Energy has worked across every layer of the energy landscape, helping clients navigate complexity and co-create impactful solutions. As the pace of change in our industry accelerates, this partnership with Skipping Stone expands our US presence and strengthens our ability to help clients thrive in a rapidly evolving market,” he said.
Skipping Stone principal Eric Alam added, “Both Full Stack Energy and Skipping Stone have long histories of delivering value to clients through a non-traditional consulting approach that focuses on small, experienced teams solving specific challenges for the client’s benefit.”
Ireland continues to expand its presence in the renewable energy sector, with Cavan-based Galetech Group recently announcing 65 new jobs as part of its international expansion into Africa, Australia and the United Kingdom.
